Writing After So Long!!!
I know I know….. I'm writing after so long.
I think that's funny because today's piece is about exactly that getting so occupied with life that you forget you even have words waiting to be written.
The past few months have been...full.
I worked as an intern, attended an international conference, spent days in laboratories, travelled, met people who knew things I didn't, and then came back home just in time to become a full-time event manager for a family retirement function.
Every day had somewhere to be.
Someone to meet.
Something to finish.
It was tiring. Really tiring.
But somewhere between running from one responsibility to another, I noticed something.
I was quietly becoming the person I had imagined a few years ago.
Not completely. Not even close.
But little by little.
There was this strange feeling of pride, not the loud kind that wants appreciation, but the silent one that sits inside your heart and whispers, You're moving.
Life suddenly stopped feeling predictable.
Instead, it started feeling like an endless hallway filled with unopened boxes.
Every opportunity was another box.
An internship.
A conference.
A conversation with someone inspiring.
A random email.
A new city.
A family celebration.
You never really know what's inside until you decide to open it.
Some boxes are exciting.
Some are disappointing.
Some teach you things you never wanted to learn.
And some quietly change who you are.
That's probably my favourite thing about life.
It refuses to spoil the ending.
Looking back, I don't remember only the achievements.
I remember laughing with people after exhausting days, learning things that made me feel tiny in the best possible way, standing in places I had only imagined, and realizing that every experience leaves behind a different version of you.
Maybe that's why I've been smiling more lately.
Not because life has become easier.
But because it has become bigger.
There's so much left to see, so much left to learn, and so many unopened boxes waiting somewhere ahead.
Life is unbelievably beautiful.
Not because it's perfect.
But because it keeps surprising you when you choose to explore.
And I think that's enough reason to keep saying yes to what's next.
Also... I'll try to be regular here again. 🤍
I'm sorry for disappearing for a while.
Thank you for staying, and I hope you'll enjoy reading about all the little adventures, thoughts, and lessons that life keeps handing me.
See you in the next one.
Taddaaaaaa
